Open House 2026

Dear Gandhi Institute friends —

With the recent loss of our beloved colleague Michael Jones, we are honoring his can-do spirit in holding our annual Open House as planned on Saturday, September 19th (2-6pm, with community dinner at 4pm).

We will be holding a separate memorial service for Michael at a future date (TBD); the Open House will be a low-key gathering to simply be together at the Institute.We'd love it if you would join us! Feel free to bring along any colleagues, friends or family.

From 2 - 4 pm, there will be music and food, face painting, sidewalk art, and other fun activities, and this year we will have an ofrenda (altar) for remembering Michael. From 4-6 pm, we will close out Open House with a potluck-style Community Dinner!
Bring marigolds for the ofrenda. Bring friends. Bring a dish to share for Community Dinner. Bring love.
